If it's about your account, email us from the address you signed up with, and we'll reply to that address to check it's really you before changing anything. We'll never ask for your password or your two-factor codes — don't send them.
Reports of harmful content come first: we aim to act on them within 24 hours. Data requests are answered within 30 days, and everything else as soon as we can.
Open the Bottles tab, then Found (or Saved), and tap the flag button on the bottle. Pick a reason, add details if you like, and tap Submit report. Reports go to our moderators, never to the person you reported.
Reporting a bottle covers the label on it, whoever drew it. A labeled bottle in your inventory, on the Drop tab, has a flag button of its own for its label.
A label someone else puts on a bottle you dropped isn't shown to you — it goes to whoever finds the bottle next, who can report it, and to our moderators. So there's nothing to report from Bottles › Dropped. If you're worried about a bottle of yours, email us.
To block the bottler who dropped a bottle you found, tap the block button on the bottle in Bottles › Found and confirm. Neither of you will find the other's bottles after that. To block someone who drew a label you were shown — on a bottle you found, or on a labeled bottle in your inventory — use the block button next to that label. They won't find your bottles after that, and you won't see that label again; you may still come across their bottles, because we never tell you who drew a label, and hiding their bottles would. To unblock someone, tap the account icon at the top right, then Blocked Bottlers, and tap Unblock.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email and tap Send Reset Link. Open the link in the email on your phone within 30 minutes to choose a new password. You can also sign in with the Magic Link tab, which emails you a one-time sign-in link.
When the app asks for your two-factor code, tap Lost your authenticator? Use a recovery code and enter one of the recovery codes you saved when you turned two-factor on. Each code works once. Once you're signed in, you can get a fresh set under the account icon › Account › Two-Factor Authentication › Get New Recovery Codes.
Lost your recovery codes too? Email us from your account's email address. Once we've confirmed the account is yours, we can turn two-factor authentication off: every device is signed out, and we email your address to let you know.
You can delete your account in the app, or by email if you can't use the app. See Delete your Driftbottle account for the steps, and for what's deleted and what's kept.
