Delete your Family Rosary account

Last updated: October 17, 2026

You can delete your Family Rosary account at any time: in the app, or by email if you can't use the app. Deleting it is permanent and can't be undone.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Family Rosary and go to the Family Circle tab. Tap the account button at the top to open My Account & Families. (In Simple mode, tap Exit simple mode first. If you haven't joined a family yet, choose Delete account from the menu at the top of the Family Setup screen.)
  2. Under Account Actions, tap Delete Account.
  3. Choose whether to Also delete the recordings of my own voice (see below), then tap Delete My Account Forever.
  4. If you're the only manager of a family that others belong to, the app asks you to choose someone to take over as manager.
  5. Re-enter your password to confirm.

If you keep your recordings with your family and some of them haven't finished uploading, the app tries again and tells you before deleting; recordings that haven't reached your family are lost.

Forgotten your password? Tap Log Out, then tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a link to reset it (see Forgotten your password). Or ask us by email instead.

What's deleted and what stays

When something is deleted, we delete the related records and audio files from our systems straight away. Google, which stores the App's data for us, may hold residual copies for a limited period under its own deletion practices. Recordings you downloaded for offline use stay on your device until you remove them or sign out. See our Privacy Policy.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your Family Rosary account. Tell us whether to delete the recordings of your own voice too, or keep them with your family. We'll confirm the request with you, delete the data as described above within 30 days, and tell you when it's done.

Removing a profile or a recording

To remove just a child's profile or a single recording, a family manager can do it in the app, or you can email us. A parent or guardian can remove a child's profile and recordings at any time.
